I have proof of why I twitch in response to Keith!
This IM conversation took place this afternoon. We were discussing Britney Spears and her latest legal problems with that auto accident and how she really needs help, when I get this:
Keith (3:04:03 PM): Did you hear about Britney’s car accident?
Me (3:03:58 PM): The one where she hit that other lady’s car, just checked her own, then left?
Keith (3:05:33 PM): yeah
Me (3:04:48 PM): Yeah
Me (3:04:57 PM): That girl needs some serious help
Keith (3:05:54 PM): One almost has to feel sorry for her
Me (3:11:23 PM): Yeah
Keith (3:13:16 PM): What’s the name of the guy that does the figures for characters like Spawn, it’s McFarlane or something like that?
Me (3:12:31 PM): twitch
So you see? I’m not making this up!
That said, here’s a bit of wedding news:
RSVP’s are starting to make their way back in. If you haven’t sent yours, please do, even if you won’t be able to attend. We’re only ordering enough food for the people who respond that they’ll be there, so if you don’t send yours back and still show up, I’m afraid all you’ll get for dinner is a cup of nuts and a glass of punch.
The menu for dinner will be served buffet style, and includes:
Dry ribs
Sesame chicken
Hot rolls
Green salad
Fruit plate
PB&J sandwiches for the smaller kids
Cookie platters
Wedding Cake
Punch or water to drink
We’re not having a bar or alcohol there, seeing as how it’s going to be December, in Idaho, and we don’t want to risk anyone having too much to drink, especially where our wedding includes families with small children.
Looking forward to seeing you all there, and getting very excited!
Okay, in my own defense there was a lull in the conversation. I mean a hundred and thirteen seconds is plenty enough time for a subject change, isn’t it?
Oh yes, please send in the RSVPs in as soon as you can. We need to know who is going to attend and who isn’t. We have some good friends who got bumped, for no fault of their own, and if you are not able to make it there might be room for them – but we need to still send them inviations.
Although we would like to see everyone there. 🙂
