Panic? Panic? Nah…

So is it time to panic? I just found out we might not have a flower girl (weather and road conditions are likely to prevent my brother from getting his daughter for the wedding). We’ll know tonight. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the weather holds out for one more day to get everyone here.

I think everything’s done and ready to go. Out of town travelers all start arriving today. Hopefully they don’t get lost. I did provide Mapquest directions, and of course, Mapquest is never wrong, right?

Keith gets his tuxedo fitted today (swoon). Even just thinking about seeing him in a tux makes me want to fan myself and have to sit down to keep from fainting. Yup, guess that’s a sign that after a year and a half of dating and being engaged for a year, I’m still head over heels, madly, googly in love with him. (I was told in a psychology class in college that after one year together the ‘in love’ feeling fades. Ha! Boy were they wrong!)

So, finishing up the house cleaning tonight and getting the laundry folded, doing the grocery shopping (being told teens eat a lot is nothing to prepare you for the reality of it) and just trying to get things one last check to make sure it’s all taken care of. And where will my wonderful, handsome fiance be while I’m doing all of this? By my side helping all the way, you think? No, he’ll be off at his best man’s fighting zombies and trying to protect a caravan of slave girls. Do these guys know how to party, or what? 🙂

It’s down to the final countdown, and I’m getting so excited! I can’t wait to see everyone and enjoy having all of our family and friends there with us when we get married. We met with the judge yesterday, and I really got a good feeling from him. He wasn’t standoffish, at all, and really liked the ceremony we have. (No, it’s not a generic seen-in-every-movie script ceremony, so you’re all going to have to put up with something more custom and original, and yes, because Keith is the groom, there’s mention about that nature stuff he’s so fond of.)

All right back to work for me. Just a couple more days!
